Hello everyone. And welcome to the five minutes PM. Do they are like to share with you one comment that I, I received from any mail from Philippi Simione in Brazil, you, and then he wrote to me, we have a link to that article off of Brazilian magazine, about software development, talking about this problem of project management, and then they were discussing Luke. Right now, we are so concerned at about project management that we are putting project managers, project, office, project managers, and we are just forgetting the software developer.

It's very, very interesting and very informative. But the, what is the problem is that every time when we try to address any kind of strategy, we always think eight Are 88 or eight to zero. Okay. And it's very hard for us to find the midterm.

So what is happening? Why people start, if you look in for project management in software development, because most of the developers, they use to lack of communication skills and planning capability. They were extremely tactical to think about that. So then you start thinking about adding people to create, we planted to make sure that the plan with them right now, what was happening is that we are probably exceeding, this is kind of control in planning our size.

And we are lacking to understand that we need that technical people to do the work. So what does my suggestion to you in what I always try to do is that it's very important. We are not talking about people. We're not talking about positions. We are you talking about project management, work someone, I don't care if it's the project manager off the developer or the team that needs to take care of the planning to make sure that we are falling the right scope, that we are able to address all the issues and deliver the product on time, that we are aware of the risks and that we have mitigation strategies in place plan.

If this can be done by the software developers or by a very mature team, it's just perfect. It doesn't mean that you are not doing project management. You are doing project management because project management is not just a plate in front of them, a room calling project office. No, this is a way we see the work. It's a way we think about the work for the future. So this is what really matters.

So both the software development, the technical skills and this planning, administrative and leadership skills to gather, they will create your ability to deliver the product. It's impossible to manage you. If you don't have the technical skills, it's impossible in the team to have only the technical skills. If you are not able to manage them, this is what really matters at the end. The Valley is delivered the product on time, on budget with the specific locations that you want running in a quite decent level for that, this is what really matters.

It doesn't matter too much. If your having 10 people are doing management or they are South manages like in scrum, does, this is something that we need to have in mind. So they're is not a good and bad or no do bad is to say that all of the project, this is what we need to have in your mind. I hope you enjoyed this podcast.
